An opportunity to be a Management Accountant for a service business based in Swadlincote. It’s a market-leading company based on multiple sites around the UK.

Main Duties:

As a Management Accountant, your main duties include:

• Drafting of monthly management accounts
• Preparation of accruals, prepayments, and intercompany journals
• Production of monthly expenditure reports for department heads
• Identifying opportunities for savings and improvements
• Ensure adherence to reporting requirements and deadlines on monthly/quarterly/annual basis.
• Ad hoc duties as required.

Location / Office / Culture

The role is based at the company’s premises in Swadlincote.

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• ACCA/CIMA/ACA part-qualification or AAT
• Experience with variance analysis & investigation
• High attention to detail
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong Excel skills
• Excellent communication skills, with an ability to speak to people at all levels
