Overview:
An established manufacturing business in Bedford is looking for a multi-skilled Maintenance Engineer with a mechanical bias to join their team. This role offers a mix of hands-on engineering, machinery support, and process improvement within a busy production environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Follow cGMP and relevant Standard Operating Procedures at all times
Ensure prompt repair and maintenance of all plant and machinery
Carry out machine changes correctly and efficiently
Advise on the most productive use of machinery
Assist in investigating complaints and preventing recurrence
Complete all GMP documentation, including machine logs and repair/modification records
Support preparation of quotations with technical input
Attend and contribute to daily scheduling meetings
Assist with training and development of training programmes as requiredSkills & Competencies:

Extensive engineering experience within a production environment
Ability to deliver practical and effective engineering solutions
Proactive in improving line efficiency and processes
Competent with standard PC software
