Liverpool (hybrid-working 1 day on site)

Finance Business Partner required to join a unique not-for-profit organisation based in Liverpool on a full time, permanent basis. My client is looking for a committed and highly motivated individual who is an experienced Finance Business Partner to join their dynamic and supportive Finance function.

As the Finance Business Partner you will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for the provision of cashflow forecasts for all subsidiaries in the organisation, alongside other duties below;

Key responsibilities of the Finance Business Partner

Support the closure of the year end financial accounting process for areas of responsibility
Maintain up to date details of all bank and loan accounts, key contacts and bank mandates
Ensure the organisation complies with all its regulatory VAT and Tax obligations
Ensure risk, control and performance are embedded, managed and monitored within the Tax and Treasury Function
Maintain accurate records of loan securitisation position and valuations
Liaise with the Financial Planning Business Partner to ensure compliance with regulatory funding requirements
Identify and develop key external relationships that will enhance the provision of Finance and Treasury support activities
Complete any other ad-hoc tasks as requiredRequired skills and experience of the Finance Business Partner

Ideally ACT/CIMA/CCAB qualified/QBE
Knowledge or experience of tax / treasury
Experience of cashflow forecasting
Excellent IT skills including strong Excel skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills both verbal and written
Good problem-solving skills with strong analytical skills
Ability to work well within a team but also work autonomously
