The Role

As a Senior Design Engineer, you'll lead the design and development of engineering components and assemblies from concept through to production, working closely with customers and internal engineering teams.

You will:

Design innovative engineering components and assemblies to customer specifications
Create detailed 3D CAD models and technical drawings
Develop new product concepts and engineering solutions
Improve existing products and manufacturing processes
Ensure designs meet safety and regulatory standards
Present concepts and final designs to customers and stakeholders
Support and mentor junior engineers within the design team
Work closely with mechanical and project teams to deliver high-quality solutions on time and within budget
What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Senior Design Engineer or experienced Design Engineer ready to step up
Strong mechanical design and product development background
Solid understanding of Design for Manufacture (DFM) principles
Experience with 3D CAD systems (Siemens NX or similar)
Experience working with PLM systems such as Teamcentre
Good understanding of engineering safety and compliance standards
Engineering degree or equivalent professional qualification
SC Clearance or eligibility to obtain it
Strong communication and leadership skills
