Job Summary

We're working with a high-growth, cloud-native digital consultancy seeking a Senior Business Consultant to play a key role in delivering complex digital and commerce transformation programmes for enterprise clients.

This is a strategic, client-facing role where you'll blend business analysis, consulting expertise, and digital commerce knowledge to shape solutions, define roadmaps, and drive delivery. You'll work closely with stakeholders, architects, and engineering teams to translate business needs into scalable, user-centric digital products.

While the role is remote-first, there will be occasional travel to UK-based client sites (typically every few months).

Please note: candidates must be based in Northern Ireland.

Job Description

  • Lead client engagements, facilitating workshops and gathering both functional and non-functional requirements
  • Translate business needs into clear user stories, epics, and prioritised product backlogs
  • Collaborate closely with engineering, QA, product, and UX teams to support end-to-end delivery
  • Define and shape capability roadmaps aligned to client objectives and digital strategy
  • Guide clients on best practices across digital commerce, operating models, and business capability design
  • Contribute to user journey design alongside UX/UI teams to ensure seamless customer experiences
  • Produce high-quality documentation and delivery artefacts to support development and client understanding
  • Work independently across multiple projects, ensuring timely and high-quality sprint deliverables
  • Contribute to internal knowledge sharing and continuous improvement of delivery frameworks

Personal Specification

Technical Competencies (Essential)

  • 5+ years' experience in a consulting or client-facing Business Analyst / Consultant role
  • Strong experience working in Agile delivery environments
  • Proven track record within digital commerce projects
  • Experience working with enterprise-scale clients
  • Strong skills in requirements gathering, user story writing, and backlog management
  • Solid understanding of the full software delivery lifecycle
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously

Desirable

  • Exposure to composable/MACH architectures or modern commerce platforms
  • Understanding of payments, order management, or customer/data platforms
  • Awareness of cloud (AWS/Azure) or event-driven systems
