Maths Tutor

Thrive Education Group are seeking a dedicated and experienced Maths Tutor to work with secondary-aged students, including those in mainstream education and students with Special Educational Needs. This hourly based role is a flexible, daytime role designed to fit around the tutor's availability, making it ideal for professionals seeking work-life balance or supplementary income.

Key Responsibilities as a Maths Tutor:

* Deliver engaging, tailored maths tuition to secondary school students

* Support both mainstream learners and students with SEND, adapting teaching methods as needed

* Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans to meet individual learning goals

* Build positive, supportive relationships that encourage confidence and academic growth

* Maintain clear communication with parents, carers, and/or education providers where required

Requirements of a Maths Tutor:

* Proven experience teaching or tutoring Maths at secondary level

* Strong understanding of the UK Maths curriculum

* Experience working with SEND students is highly desirable

* Ability to differentiate instruction to suit a range of abilities

* Patient, adaptable, and passionate about education

* Relevant qualifications (e.g. degree in Maths or related field, teaching qualification) are preferred but not essential with strong experience
