Salary: £11.44/hour

We are currently recruiting for Casual Catering staff in Inverness for short term cover including holiday and sickness.

Candidates will have previous hospitality experience and be available at short notice as and when required.

Hourly rate will be £11.44 per hour and locations of work will vary depending on client's requirements.

The ideal candidates will have a passion for hospitality, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Catering Staff will be responsible for setting up, serving, and breaking down catering events, ensuring a high standard of service and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:
Event Setup: Assist in the preparation and setup of catering events, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, and place settings.
Food Preparation: Support kitchen staff in the preparation and presentation of food items, ensuring all dishes are prepared to company standards.
Service: Serve food and beverages to guests in a professional and courteous manner, adhering to all service guidelines.
Customer Interaction: Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest needs and inquiries promptly and efficiently.
Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and organization of catering areas, including event spaces, kitchens, and storage areas.
Compliance: Follow all health and safety regulations, including proper food handling and sanitation practices.
Breakdown: Assist in the breakdown and cleanup of events, ensuring all equipment and supplies are properly stored.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members and departments to ensure seamless event execution.
Experience: Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or a related field is preferred but not required.
Skills: Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds), and perform physically demanding tasks.
Communication: Excellent verbal communication skills and a professional demeanor.
Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
