Are you seeking a SENDCo position on a part-time basis? A unique opportunity presents in a beautiful Tameside school!

A fantastic, unique opportunity has presented for a SENDCo to work on a part-time basis in a beautiful, Church of England school in Audenshaw, Tameside. This is a part-time role which will be 2 consecutive days a week and the school will pay a competitive salary which reflects your skills and experience. The school look to appoint an individual with a SENDCo background and someone who is driven to support the children and families on their educational journey.

This 'Good' rated school is led by an experienced Headteacher who is extremely dedicated to his role and proud of the community the school educates. About the Role

As SENDCO, you be responsible for leading the strategic development of the special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) policy whilst assessing, planning, and reviewing the effectiveness of interventions. You will liaise with families and outside agencies to support best outcomes for children and must be an effective communicator and team player.

The successful applicant will have the following:

- Qualified Teacher status with relevant NASENCO qualification (or be willing to undertake it)
- The ability to organise, lead and motivate staff and pupils
- Good organisation and communication skills
- Be highly motivated and committed to developing pupil potential
- Be committed to working as part of a team and have a good sense of humour
- Be able to adapt and respond to challenging situations
- Be committed to supporting the Christian ethos of the school
- Be committed to safeguarding all pupils.

This important post will be filled by someone who has an inclusive philosophy, excellent leadership skills and is fully committed to the school community and its children.
