Pay: £15.00 per hour

Shift/Hours: Monday to Thursday 07:30 - 16:30, Friday 07:30 - 12:30
Contract Type: Temp to Perm

This is a well-established engineering and fabrication business specialising in structural steelwork, working on heavy-duty projects requiring high-quality welding standards.

The Role

We are currently recruiting for an experienced MIG Welder to join a busy workshop environment. This role will involve working on structural steel components, carrying out multi-run welds on thicker materials.

MIG welding on structural steel
Multi-run welding on thicker gauge materials
Butt welds and heavy fabrication work
Reading and working from engineering drawings
Ensuring all welds meet required quality standards
Working to production deadlines in a fast-paced environment

About You

Proven experience as a MIG Welder within structural steel
Experience with multi-run welds and thicker materials
Ability to carry out butt welds to a high standard
Ability to read and work from engineering drawings
Reliable and consistent work history
Experience in similar environments (e.g. heavy fabrication / structural steel)
