All About the Role
This is an interesting new role, you will be given the training necessary to carry out your role, including mentoring by a strong, established sales team to develop business within our existing customer base whilst also seeking new opportunities. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 8.30 am to 5 pm.
Specific tasks could include:
* Answering incoming call, fielding customer enquiries to the appropriate person.
* Help to develop new business with an emphasis on cold calling, ensuring potential clients are aware of what our business has to offer.
* Checking stock availability and raising quotations.
* Following up on sales quotes and maintaining client records.
* Responding to non-sales queries such as order progression update, transport queries, etc.
* Contact customers to obtain missing information and respond to queries.
* Raise sales orders in the system and liaise with operations/transport and sales to ensure smooth order progression through processing and delivery.

Essential Skills for the role:
* Eager to learn with a can-do attitude with a desire for career development in a sales related role
* Sales admin or previous sales experience would be a bonus
* Strong interpersonal skills and an excellent telephone manner
* Good level of IT & confident in Microsoft packages
* Ideally a full driving license
