Sports Coach/Mentor
U-Educate are looking for a Sports Coach to join a school in Fareham, where you will be working with an experienced and supportive team, assisting with PE/Outdoor Education lessons and supporting students on a One to One basis in the classroom on a full time basis - this is a great opportunities for a Graduate or someone looking to start a career within the Education sector.
The School is a maintained community special school for pupils aged between 10 and 16 who have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP). The school serves a wide range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) including; Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC); Attention Deficit, (Hyperactivity) Disorder AD(H)D; Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN); Opposition Defiance Disorder (ODD) and Attachment/Conduct disorders.
You will preferably have a background working with young people and will be on hand to help students achieve learning and behaviour targets.
Contract Details

Position - Sports Coach/Mentor
Type of work - Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4
Contract or position start date - ASAP or January
Contract or position end date - Ongoing
Contract type (temp/perm/temp to perm) - Temp to Perm
Full time/part time - Full time
Minimum rate of pay - £85 per day
Hours - 8:30 am - 15.30pm

Experience, Training and Qualifications

Degree (not essential but preferable)
Minimum 1 year experience working with young people
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last year (we can offer this if not)


Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related references
