Description

• Process and code invoices, expenses, and credit card claims.
• Manage approval workflows and support payment runs.
• Maintain supplier records and assist with treasury tasks.
• Prepare accruals and support accurate financial record-keeping.
• Administer finance policies and manage the Accounts Payable mailbox.
• Support payment automation and general system improvements.
• Assist with year-end, data submissions, insurance renewals, and delegated authority tasks.
• Contribute to risk management as First Line of Defence.
• Promote strong information security practices.

Profile

A successful Finance Assistant will have:

• Knowledge and Experience
• Strong IT skills especially confident using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Relationship management skills
• Discretion is required as this role will often deal with highly confidential information
• Uses initiative to find solutions and approaches problems with curiosity and an open mind.
• Effective time management skills; able to manage several tasks and conflicting priorities.
• Good knowledge and experience of general insurance desirable but not essential
