Venn Group are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Design Engineer to deliver high-quality designs for projects in the Building Service sector.

This role requires professionals with experience in Electrical Design who can go on-site near their office in Bristol 3, 4 days per week.Unfortunately Sponsorship isn’t available. The salary& Job title’s are dependent on experience. Salary range: £47,000 - £71,000 + Benefits + Bonus

Your Role:

• Be responsible for the day-to-day technical delivery of electrical design services for multi-disciplinary projects across various building sectors
• Lead the development of initial strategic concepts for projects, ensuring solutions are appropriate for the brief and regulatory standards
• Interact regularly with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a communicative, collaborative, and timely approach to delivery. This is a client-facing role, so you will attend project meetings and disseminate/translate the brief within the project team
• Work with the team leader to help monitor fee expenditure, resources, and work delivered
• Mentor and support the next generation of professionals, including apprentices and graduates

About You

To be successful in this role, you’ll need:

• Proven experience working as an Electrical Engineer or in a closely related role, with a track record of delivering on a variety of complex projects
• Excellent communication and business development skills
• Experience with modern technical delivery processes and relevant software/tools such as Revit, AutoCAD, and Dialux
• Demonstrable experience working with clients, contractors, and architects in a design-oriented/consultant role
• Self-awareness, an open mind, and a spirit of generosity
• An interest in area’s including Sustainable development & Green technologies
• Experience in supporting others to develop knowledge, skills, and confidence
