The Best Connection Ltd are an Employment Business recruiting on behalf of our client.
Our client is a global leader in logistics and aviation freight transport and have a depot based in Howden which services the local East and North Yorkshire and Humberside regions.
We have an opportunity to recruit a van driver to start immediately following registration and 5 year vetting and continuing as a van courier multi drop delivery driver on an ongoing basis and leading to a temporary to permanent basis with our client for the successful candidate.
Applicants must be able to meet the following criteria :
- Have previous courier multi drop or similar fast paced van delivery experience.
- Be capable of delivering 80 to 100 parcels daily.
- Hold a full UK licence with no more than 6 minor points.
- Provide checkable references to cover the last 5 years including work history, references and address history.
- Be over 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
- Candidates must be prepared to have a DBS check carried out prior to commencing work as part of the induction process. (We pay for this).
- Candidates must be competent in safely driving both short and long wheel base vans.
- Candidates must be physically fit and be involved in loading and unloading their van.

PAY RATES :
1ST 45 HOURS OF THE WEEK £ 14.25 PER HOUR
AFTER 45 HOURS OF £ 21.38 PER HOUR
