We are recruiting for a qualified Butcher Counter Manager to join a well-established farm shop. This role combines hands-on butchery with team leadership, ensuring high product standards, excellent customer service, and efficient day-to-day counter operations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage the daily running of the butcher counter

Lead, train, and support the butchery team

Ensure high standards of product quality, presentation, and hygiene

*

Provide expert advice and service to customers

*

Manage stock levels, ordering, and minimise waste

*

Monitor sales performance and support profitability

About You

*

Fully qualified butcher (City & Guilds or equivalent)

*

Experience managing a butcher counter or retail butchery team

*

Strong knowledge of meat preparation, cuts, and food safety (HACCP)

*

Excellent customer service and communication skills
