Long Term Futures is working with a welcoming and inclusive secondary school in the Long Eaton area to recruit two Teaching Assistants to join their team:

• 1 x Level 1 Teaching Assistant
• 1 x Level 2 Teaching Assistant

The RoleAs a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Provide 1:1 and small group support to students with additional needs
• Help adapt classroom activities so that all learners can access the curriculum
• Support students' emotional wellbeing and build their confidence in learning
• Encourage positive behaviour and consistency in routines
• Work closely with teachers, support staff, and parents to ensure the best outcomes for students

What We're Looking For

• Experience supporting young people with special educational needs in a school setting
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• A patient, reliable, and positive approach to supporting learners
• An enhanced DBS and two references (or willingness to apply)
