Salary: Up to £26,500 per annum
Location: Denham, near Uxbridge
Hours: Full-time, permanent. 37 hours a week with early Friday finish

Syntech Recruitment are working with a specialist engineering company who are looking for a Trainee Operator to join their team, working in the niche area of parachute packing.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a highly responsible role where accuracy, care and consistency are key. Candidates with experience operating machinery, using hand tools or those from a former military background could be an excellent fit.

Trainee Operator Responsibilities:
Packing and preparing parachutes to strict safety and quality standards

Using hand tools and equipment with precision and care

Following detailed technical instructions and checklists

Carrying out thorough quality checks at every stage

Maintaining a clean, safe, and organised working environment

Trainee Operator Profile:
A full UK driving licence (essential)

A keen eye for detail and the ability to follow instructions precisely

Experience using hand tools in any setting (workshop, site, trade, or DIY)

Previous experience operating machinery (advantageous)

A background in the military or other disciplined, hands-on roles would be a great fit

A proactive, reliable, and safety-conscious approach
