This project is a first of its kind in the last of 30 years' constructing a new reservoir to protect some of the rarest chalk streams in the country. The project is being delivered by a Joint Venture and will comprise of extensive earthworks, ecological work, reinforced concrete structures, pipelines, buildings and MEICA.
Following completion of the project the business has a steady local workload on frameworks, reactive projects, private clients and local authorities on projects such a coastal protection, jettys, water treatment works, marine groundworks and more.
Experience of working with NEC Contracts is essential.
Key duties:
* Working with the project team to record costs, change and variation
* Minimise cost and risk of the project and enhance value for money
* Provide commercial support to the engineering staff
* Manage costs and budget in line with the NEC contract
* Raise early warning notices, compensation events
