Teaching Assistant Role – LS13 Leeds
As a Teaching Assistant in Leeds, you will support pupils with a variety of needs, including:
- Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH)
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD and learning difficulties
You will play a key role in delivering inclusive education, helping students engage in learning, build confidence, and develop independence in line with the Leeds SEND local offer.
Key Responsibilities (TA Jobs Leeds):
- Provide 1:1 and small group support as a SEN Teaching Assistant
- Support behaviour management and emotional regulation (SEMH support)
- Assist teachers with lesson delivery and differentiated learning
- Implement targeted interventions to support pupil progress
- Build strong relationships to support pupil wellbeing and engagement
- Work collaboratively with teachers, SENCOs, and external agencies
Requirements for Teaching Assistant Jobs in LS13:
