Job Type: Permanent, FullTime

Salary: £75000 - £85000/annum + benefits

As a security architect, you will be working on services of high complexity and risk, making decisions to enable the business to achieve its needs, whilst balancing InfoSec and OpSec policy interpretation in context to ensure compliance.

Job Description:

What will you do?

* work on projects with high strategic impact, setting out an information security strategy that can be used in the long term and across the breadth of the organisation

* communicate with a broad range of senior stakeholders and be responsible for defining the vision, principles and strategy for security architects

* recommend security design across several projects or technologies, up to an organisational or inter-organisational level

* have a deep and evolving level of technical knowledge, so you can act as an expert across the business

* make and influence important business and architectural decisions, whilst balancing the requirements of our information security policies with the needs of our clients

* research, identify, validate and adopt new technologies and methodologies

* be a fierce advocate, and recognised expert in information security, demonstrating your expertise by solving complex issues and “wicked” problems

* further the profession, demonstrating and sharing best practice within and outside the organisation

* Analyse business requirements and translating those requirements into an end state and interim architectures broken down into solutions that achieves the stated business needs

We are looking for someone who has:

* Demonstrable experience (at least three) end-to-end large-scale implementations in the role of a lead security architect

* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills

* Strong presentation development and customer presentation skills

* Successful teamwork experience & demonstrated leadership abilities.

* Self-starter, able to work effectively alone and as part of a team taking responsibility for delivery of work on time and to quality standards

* Strong delivery focus aligned to overall strategy and able to take a pragmatic view on risk and issue identification and management

Desired (but not essential) qualifications include:

* Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)

* Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)

* Certified Cloud Security Professional (CCSP)

* TOGAF 9 Certified
