Job Duties:

1. Plan and deliver engaging and age-appropriate lessons to early years students

2. Create a safe and nurturing learning environment for children

3. Assess students' progress and provide feedback to parents and guardians

4. Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and teaching strategies

5. Participate in staff meetings and professional development activities

Required Qualifications:

- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)

- Enhanced DBS check

- Knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Education:

Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field

Experience:

At least 2 years of experience teaching early years students

Knowledge and Skills:

- Strong understanding of child development principles

- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners

- Proficiency in using educational technology in the classroom

- Excellent classroom management skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Postgraduate qualification in Early Years Education

- Experience working with children with special educational needs

Working Conditions:

- Work in a school setting with early years students

- Full-time hours with occasional evening or weekend commitments

- Collaborative work environment with other teaching staff

- Temporary position with the possibility of extension

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
