We are seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable Senior to join our finance team on a 12-month maternity cover contract. This position plays an important part in ensuring accurate billing, efficient income management, and reliable financial information across multiple sites.

Key Responsibilities

Billing & Revenue Processing

• Complete daily and monthly invoice uploads via Sage Intacct.
• Review and verify credit notes before they are finalised.

Reconciliations & Account Maintenance

• Perform detailed reconciliations on customer accounts and investigate variances.
• Prepare refund packs following account review and authorisation.
• Set up new customer accounts and maintain accurate documentation.

Cash Allocation & Banking

• Allocate incoming payments accurately and maintain up-to-date account positions.
• Lead bank reconciliations and support month-end tasks, including revenue reconciliation.

Operational Support

• Assist with reviewing aged accounts and progressing outstanding items.
• Provide clear, well-organised responses for audit requests.

About You

• Minimum of three years’ experience in Accounts Receivable or a similar finance role.
• Confident working with finance systems and capable of navigating multiple platforms.
• Exceptional attention to detail, particularly when handling high-volume data.
• Analytical approach and strong problem-solving ability.
• Intermediate Excel skills.
• Able to manage your own workload and meet deadlines independently.
• Professional communicator who can work effectively with teams across different sites.
• Proactive, motivated, and a strong team player.

Desirable

• AAT Level 3 or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of accounting processes and best practice.
