Job Title: CNC Miller Programmer

Location: Cam, Nr Dursley

Hours: 7.45-4.30 Mon-Thurs (12.30 Friday) Overtime X 1.5

Pay Rate: £16-£20hr DOE

Our client uses cutting edge technology and advanced engineering techniques to provide outstanding services from locations in Dursley, Gloucestershire and Stourbridge, West Midlands. They provide a total “one-stop subcontract machining solution” for finished components & assembly parts needed within aerospace, automotive, oil & gas, nuclear, medical, OEM and metrology industries. From their state of the art CNC machining and manufacturing facilities, they're able to offer CNC Milling, CNC Turning, wire EDM machining, CNC grinding, water jet cutting and their own in-house surface treatment & TSA plant.

What's the job?
⦁ Programming, setting and Hurco machines with Winmanx controls
⦁ Reading and interpreting from engineering drawings to enable programming, setting and manufacture to achieve a right first time product.
⦁ Working on batches 1-50off
⦁ Ability to work by self to achieve exceptional high standards and deadlines.
⦁ Able to qualify and document own work using a variety of measuring equipment.
⦁ Ability and willingness to support and train others.
⦁ To work safely using the appropriate PPE and maintain a safe and organised work place.

Who can apply?
⦁ Time served apprenticeship would be preferred but not entirely necessary.
⦁ Preferably a minimum of 5 years programming and operating CNC machines.
⦁ Good written and communicational skills are essential.
⦁ Reliable, loyal, friendly and approachable.
⦁ Able to flex and support an ever-changing business
