A vibrant and inclusive primary school in Brent is seeking a committed Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO) to lead and enhance its SEND provision starting September 2025. This is an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on pupils' lives and play a key leadership role within the school.

Your Role as SENCO:

Lead the strategic development of the school's SEND provision.
Coordinate and oversee support for pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), ensuring that all learners receive the tailored support they need to succeed.
Work collaboratively with teaching staff, support staff, parents, and external agencies to deliver high-quality outcomes for pupils with SEND.
Manage and review Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), Individual Education Plans (IEPs), and ensure documentation is up to date and impactful.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements and SEND Code of Practice.SENCO requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a minimum of three years' classroom experience.
NASENCO qualification (or a willingness to complete it).
Proven experience supporting pupils with a range of SEND needs in a primary school setting.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
