First for Education is working in partnership with a Secondary School in Cannock to recruit an enthusiastic and dependable Cover Supervisor to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a supportive and forward-thinking secondary school environment.

About the Role:
As a Cover Supervisor, you'll be responsible for delivering pre-prepared lessons and supervising students in the absence of the class teacher. This is a vital role that ensures continuity in learning and supports the school's smooth operation.

Key Responsibilities:

Delivering lesson content provided by teaching staff

Managing classroom behaviour effectively

*

Supporting students with tasks and ensuring engagement

*

Reporting back to staff on student progress and behaviour

What We're Looking For:

A confident individual with strong classroom presence

Previous experience working with young people (youth work, teaching assistant, coaching etc.)

*

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

*

A flexible and proactive attitude

*

A degree or equivalent is beneficial but not essential
