The OpportunityWe’re seeking a Product / Project Delivery Manager with a proven track record in project delivery and a passion for enhancing customer experience (CEX). This is a pivotal role in shaping the future of rail travel, where your work will directly impact how customers experience high-speed services across the UK.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage projects using structured delivery lifecycles, tools, and governance frameworks.
- Drive project planning, resource allocation, and budget management to ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
- Engage and manage complex stakeholder groups, including internal teams, partners, and government bodies.
- Champion customer-centric thinking across all project phases, ensuring CEX is embedded in design and delivery.
- Identify and mitigate risks, assumptions, issues, and dependencies (RAID).
- Contribute to business planning and continuous improvement through lessons learned and regular reviews.
- Implement change control and assurance processes to maintain project integrity and alignment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects that directly impact customer experience, ideally within transport or rail.
- Strong knowledge of project management lifecycles, tools, and documentation standards.
- Skilled in stakeholder engagement, planning techniques, and risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Relevant professional qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, APMP).
- Industry experience in transport or rail is highly desirable.
