CNC Laser OperatorLocation: SheffieldSalary: £33,396.13 + 12.5% Shift Allowance (£37,570) + Overtime AvailableShifts: Mornings (06:00–14:00) and Afternoons (14:00–22:00)

Role Overview:

As a CNC Laser Operator, you will be responsible for setting and operating CNC Laser machines to manufacture components to tight tolerances and high-quality standards. You will ensure the smooth operation of equipment, complete first-off inspections, and maintain a clean and safe working environment.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Setting and operating CNC Lasers
  • Loading and unloading raw materials into the lasers
  • Carrying out 1st off inspections against engineering drawings
  • Maintaining a clean and organised workstation
  • Ensuring components meet strict quality requirements and specifications
  • Supporting the team to meet production targets and deadlines
Experience & Requirements:
  • Previous experience operating CNC Laser machines or working knowledge of CNC machinery
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality control
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
  • Highly organised and able to manage time effectively
  • Comfortable working to tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
