Join an established manufacturing business in Staffordshire as an Export Sales Administrator. This role offers a fantastic opportunity to engage in global-facing operations, supplying specialist products across international markets. Ideal for proactive and detail-oriented individuals, this position is crucial for coordinating international customer orders and ensuring smooth export operations.
Day-to-day of the role: - Schedule and organise export shipments, preparing all necessary documentation such as invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin.
- Liaise with freight forwarders and hauliers to arrange transport and negotiate pricing.
- Communicate collection schedules to warehouse teams and ensure all paperwork is in order.
- Process customer orders, send confirmations, and issue certificates as required.
- Respond to customer enquiries and provide administrative support to the sales team.
- Monitor and follow up on sales leads and website enquiries.
- Build strong relationships with customers and track order trends.
- Provide cover for colleagues during absences.
- Review and approve freight invoices.
- Maintain organised records of customer communications and agreements.
Required Skills & Qualifications: - Previous experience in an administrative role within an office environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage workload independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Team-oriented with a flexible approach.
- Awareness of Dangerous Goods regulations is desirable (training provided if needed).
