Their Commercial and Technology team focuses on providing legal advice to leading public and private companies in high growth, innovation driven markets on the intersection of technology and data.
The team has significant experience advising on the legal issues related to the internalisation of technology and internet enabled services including e-commerce, social media, big data, digital marketing and advertising. Their clients are both providers and users of cloud software, data analytics platforms, IT infrastructure services, and mobile applications, and they regularly advise on transactional and regulatory matters in Europe, Asia and North America. The work regularly involves complex, cross-border matters that raise multi-faceted intellectual property, data privacy, consumer protection, and internet regulatory issues.
To support sustained and continued growth this successful team are now looking for an additional mid-level lawyer.
In order to be considered for this role, you will:
- Have an interest in technology, an appetite for increasing your knowledge, and be keen to assist the team build on its market-leading position in the sector;
- Have experience advising on legal issues related to the development and growth of technology and internet enabled services including:
- social media;
- Big Data,
- Digital marketing and advertising
- Have experience drafting and negotiating commercial agreements for providers and users of SaaS and cloud-based software solutions, AI & data analytics platforms, IT infrastructure services, and software and mobile applications.
