We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Maintenance Engineer to join a well-established team in Glastonbury. This is a flexible, permanent position offering part-time hours (20-30 per week), with the option to increase to full-time (40 hours/week) for the right candidate.

You'll use your engineering experience to keep machinery operating efficiently, carry out routine maintenance, and troubleshoot issues to minimise downtime and ensure smooth production flow.

Monitor and maintain machinery performance across the production line.
Conduct regular preventative maintenance including lubrication, inspection, and adjustment.
Troubleshoot mechanical faults and implement timely repairs.
Record maintenance activities and report any recurring issues.
Support improvements in machine reliability and uptime.We are looking for:

Proven experience as a Maintenance Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Strong mechanical fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks.
Flexible approach to hours and team support.
Engineering qualifications are desirable but not essential. 
Working Hours & Salary

Monday to Friday, starting at 6:00am.
Part-time: 20-30 hours/week with flexibility.
Full-time opportunity (40 hours/week) available for the right candidate.
