Accounts Assistant

Location: Gloucester - Hybrid working 3 days onsite

Salary: Up to £30,000 per annum

Our client, a leading organisation in the manufacturing sector, is hiring an Accounts Assistant to support day-to-day finance operations and contribute to the smooth running of the finance function.

This role offers the opportunity to develop your accounting experience within a fast-paced, commercially focused environment, with exposure to a wide range of finance activities.

What you’ll do

• Process purchase and sales invoices accurately
• Support bank reconciliations and cash allocation
• Assist with month-end tasks and reporting
• Manage supplier queries and maintain strong relationships
• Provide general support across the finance team

You’ll work closely with finance colleagues and operational teams to ensure financial processes run efficiently and accurately.

What we’re looking for

• Previous experience in an Accounts Assistant or similar role
• Backgrounds in manufacturing, engineering, or retail environments considered
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
• Confident using finance systems and Excel
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach

The ideal candidate will be reliable, detail-oriented, and keen to learn, with a positive mindset and the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
