Senior Planner

Location: Gatwick

Penguin Recruitment is delighted to be supporting the largest independent planning and highways consultancy in the South East, in their search for a senior planner. They are seeking a professional planner to support a variety of exciting and large profile, DCO and EIA projects. As a Senior Planner, you will be expected to lead small projects from inception to completion, attend client meetings, liaise with external consultants and our multi-disciplinary team, and be an active team player in medium to larger projects.

Responsibilities

Lead small projects from inception to completion
Attend client meetings and liaise with external consultants
Work as an active team player in medium to larger projects
Support a variety of DCO and EIA projects

Qualifications

Good all-round knowledge of the UK planning system and the workings of local government
Three plus years of experience in the planning industry
MRTPI qualified or in the process of being qualified
Full UK driving licence
Experience in DCO / EIA projects is desirable

Day-to-Day

Liaising with external consultants and our multi-disciplinary team
Leading small projects and supporting larger projects
Attending client meetings and ensuring project completion
