Based in Netherton, the South Hub is a large service that provides quality care and support for adults who have learning and physical disabilities. The Hub has a number of satellite sites within the locality where service users participate in drama, art, needlecraft and woodwork activities.
As the manager responsible for the service, you would be responsible for ensuring that it is safe and compliant with all relevant legislation, Company policies and other relevant guidance, and for managing all resources to ensure that these are appropriately utilised to maximise efficiency and provide value for money.
Requirements for this role include:
- Diploma in Health & Social Care Level 3/4 or relevant professional qualification in Health or Social Care is essential
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management would be advantageous
- Recent management of a disability service to include autism and complex needs
- Experience of working in community based setting with vulnerable people
- People management skills
- Budget management skills
You must be able to demonstrate effective and supportive leadership skills aligned to New Directions ethos and core values
