Lemon Drizzle recruitment has been appointed to recruit a Works Supervisor for a Regional Contractor based in County Durham.

The Works Supervisor position has derived from organic growth and the company wish to employ the successful candidate on a permanent basis.

What you'll be doing and be responsible for

You will manage a range of social housing refurbishment projects (voids) across the North East. This will involve full strip out and refit to include kitchens, bathrooms, roofing, and decoration. You will work closely with the Operations Manager to plan projects and ensure the smooth delivery of all schemes.

Key Responsibilities:
- Organise and order materials for projects
- Sequence and manage on-site works
- Produce detailed project reports
- Liaise with clients and site supervisors
- Accurately record on-site changes
- Ensure all health and safety certifications are up to date
- Daily coordination of trades on site

* Joinery background with at least 5 years of supervisory experience

* Strong organisational and communication skills

* Health and safety certification is essential.
