Are you an experienced Senior HR Advisor / HR Officer / HR Manager looking for a new challenge?
We are working with a client who are looking to recruit an experienced HR professional to join their busy and successful team. The company has a total staff headcount of circa 100 people.
Working for a well-established and respected company, our client is seeking someone who will be responsible for ensuring “Best Practice” is shared throughout the company to ensure best HR standards are met across the board.
This position will involve occasional commuting between company locations, so a driving licence is essential.
HR Officer Responsibilities:
Overseeing the HR Function for the business, including job offers, on-boarding, staff sickness monitoring and RTW, conducting staff disciplinary meetings and outcomes.
Oversee and update company handbook as required
Assist the Finance Director with submission of payroll via SAGE
Overseeing and working with Managers to monitor staff training & development
Provision of expert HR knowledge great understanding reference to employee relations, including, performance, disciplinary matters, grievance, attendance, redundancy, attrition.
You will be responsible for documenting and publicising HR policies and procedures to align workforce initiatives, drive performance and mitigate disputes.
For this HR Officer Role
You will have at least 2 years' experience working in a HR retail or generalist position.
You will have a strong HR background with ideally level 5 in CIPD qualification or equivalent.
You will have a strong understanding of business strategies and understanding of business needs.
You will keep up to date with new employment registrations and ensure all dealerships are compliant with employment laws and support ER activities when required.
You will have great knowledge in coordinating learning and development with HR activities
You will have previous experience working at multiple locations and be able to prioritise and deal with multiple workloads to meet deadlines.
To be able to communicate effectively with both colleagues and senior Managers / Directors.
Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
HR Officer package is competitive depending on experience offering from £30,000 per annum.
