About the Role

Position: SEND Teaching Assistant

Location: Primary School in Oldham

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Full-time, long-term

In this role, you will support children with SEND both in the classroom and through tailored intervention sessions. You'll play a key part in helping pupils progress academically, socially, and emotionally.

Key Responsibilities

Provide supportive, individualised assistance to SEND pupils.

Deliver targeted intervention activities as outlined in student learning plans.

Work collaboratively with class teachers and wider school staff.

Encourage independence, confidence, and positive learning behaviours.

About You

Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (essential).

Experience: Previous experience working with SEND pupils in a Primary School setting.

Personal Qualities: Patient, empathetic, proactive, and committed to creating an inclusive learning environment.
