SEND Teaching Assistant (Personal Care required)

Location: Tamworth B77

Salary: £62 - £96 per day

Job Type: Full time - Temporary.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 15:30pm

Start Date : ASAP

Monarch Education is working with a SEND School in Tamworth with an Outstanding Ofsted rating. We are recruiting for a Classroom Teaching assistant to work with a class of Key Stage 1 & 2 students with a range of Special Educational Needs and Disabilities on a full time basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supporting SEN children in and outside of the classroom with learning and personal care
  • Helping children settling into a new class and establishing routines
  • School-based experienced is NOT essential. Candidates with transferable experience/knowledge are welcome to apply.

Ideal Candidate will:

  • Have experience working with children and young people with additional needs
  • Minimum of 2 years' professional experience working with vulnerable children or adults with additional needs or disabilities.
  • Calm, nurturing and patient with your approach
  • Be versatile and resilient in varying and difficult situations
