Learning Support Assistant

An 'Outstanding' and modern Secondary School in the heart of Hounslow is seeking a Learning Support Assistant to join their team in September 2025! This is a Long-Term and Full-Time role for at least the full academic year.

This Hounslow Secondary School pride themselves on supporting students throughout their education from Year 7 to Year 3 and is seeking a Learning Support Assistant who will thrive in supporting students of all ages and abilities.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be tasked with:

  • Helping Class Teachers to deliver subject material across all core areas of the curriculum
  • Supporting students across the school on an academic basis
  • Assisting students with SEND/SEMH needs including ASD, ADHD and more in groups and on a 1:1 basis
  • Setting targets and helping students to achieve them

The ideal candidate for this Learning Support Assistant would be a passionate graduate looking to pursue a career working with children and to make a difference to the lives of young people from the get-go!

  • Learning Support Assistant
  • Working with students across KS3-5 in and out of the classroom

ROLE DETAILS

  • Based in Hounslow
  • Monday - Friday, Term-Time only
  • 8.30am - 4pm
  • September 2025 Start
  • £105 - £110 per day

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE

  • A passionate graduate with a desire to work with children at present and in the future
  • Previous experience working with children, ideally in a school environment
  • A significant understanding of SEND/SEMH needs - previous experience is desirable
  • An individual who is committed to the role for at least a full academic year
