Yard Forklift Driver - £14.00 per hour
Location: Basildon Essex| Monday-Friday, Day Shifts (Early Finish Friday!)

We're looking for an experienced Yard Forklift Driver to join our close-knit team at a leading structural steel fabrication firm. If you're confident in handling uneven loads, take pride in a tidy yard, and are happy to muck in when needed, we want to hear from you.

About the Role:

You'll be an essential part of our operations, handling materials and supporting our fabrication process. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Operating forklifts to move uneven and heavy structural steel loads, including use of extra-long forks

Manual handling of materials when required

Completing digital paperwork accurately using a tablet

Supporting your small, friendly team to keep things running smoothly

Maintaining a safe and tidy yard environment

What We're Looking For:

Valid counterbalance forklift licence and confident operating in a small outdoor yard

Experience handling awkward or heavy loads, ideally within a steel or construction environment

Comfortable using digital devices (basic tablet use for paperwork)

Team player with a can-do attitude and a strong work ethic

What You'll Get:

Monday to Friday day shift (early finish on Fridays!)
