Senior Quality Inspector

An excellent opportunity has become available for a Senior Quality Inspector to join a long-standing and respected engineering and manufacturing company based in Stonehouse. This is a fully hands-on role where you will be responsible for carrying out precision inspection work to ensure products meet strict quality and customer requirements.

We are looking for a detail-focused and proactive individual with strong inspection and metrology experience who takes pride in achieving the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities:

* Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspection of components and assemblies

* Use a wide range of measuring tools and equipment including micrometers, verniers, gauges, and CMMs

* Verify dimensions against detailed engineering drawings and specifications

* Support the testing facility and ensure accurate recording of inspection results

* Prepare and maintain inspection records and quality reports for management and customer requirements

* Assist with APQP and PPAP documentation from prototype through to final approval

* Contribute to continuous improvement activities and problem-solving initiatives within the quality department

Key Skills and Experience:

* Extensive hands-on experience in precision engineering inspection

* Proficient in the use of manual and electronic metrology equipment

* Strong ability to interpret complex engineering drawings and GD&T

* Familiarity with quality management systems

* Knowledge of compliance, testing, and Health & Safety within a manufacturing environment

* Excellent attention to detail with a methodical and reliable approach
