About the Role
We are working with a leading manufacturer in the building products sector who are looking to recruit an experienced Production Manager to oversee night shift operations at their Stoke-on-Trent site. This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious individual to join a well-established business and play a pivotal role in driving performance, quality, and efficiency across the production function.

Key Responsibilities

* Lead, motivate and manage a team of production staff during the night shift, ensuring targets are met and exceeded.

* Drive continuous improvement across production processes, focusing on quality, efficiency, and safety.

* Ensure compliance with health & safety policies and company procedures at all times.

* Monitor production schedules, adjusting resources where necessary to meet demand.

* Provide training, coaching, and development for production staff.

* Report on performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement.

* Collaborate with day-shift management to ensure smooth handovers and consistent operations.

About You

* Previous experience in a Production Manager or Shift Manager role within a manufacturing or related environment.

* Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to engage and motivate teams.

* Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles is desirable.

* Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.

* Strong commitment to health & safety and quality standards.

* Flexibility to work night shifts on a permanent basis.
