Are you an experienced technician or engineer with a background in electrical integration or defence systems? This is your chance to be part of a cutting-edge manufacturing project right here in Stockport.

We are working with a well-established defence contractor involved in one of the UK's most advanced military vehicle programmes. This role is crucial in the final assembly and integration of high-tech systems into state-of-the-art armoured vehicles used by the British Army.

The Role:

As an Integration Specialist, you'll be responsible for installing, testing and troubleshooting specialist systems within the vehicle, you will be responsible for integrating weapon systems, communication systems, and navigation systems within the Boxer Vehicle. Responsible for testing the above systems and running fault finding throughout the electrical systems.

You'll also:

* Handle sensitive materials and components

* Run electrical fault diagnostics

* Work with suppliers and external contractors

* Provide feedback to improve processes and support ongoing engineering improvements

What You'll Need:

* Experience in manufacturing or assembly (ideally in defence or vehicle systems)

* Good understanding of electrical systems and integration

* Strong IT skills - especially Microsoft Excel

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team

* Solid communication and organisational skills

Desirable: Experience working with military systems or military vehicles.
