SEN Teacher

Prospero Teaching are looking for a Teacher to join an Alternative Provision in Basingstoke, working as part of a supportive and experienced team. The setting prides itself on creating an environment where young people are respected, listened to, and actively involved in their learning journey.

The school is open to teachers from a range of subject backgrounds. What's most important is your ability to build positive relationships, engage learners who may have had disrupted education, and adapt lessons to meet a variety of needs.

As a Teacher in this Alternative Provision, each day will be varied and rewarding. You'll follow a flexible structure, supporting young people through tailored educational and therapeutic approaches that are designed to help them achieve both academically and personally.

Minimum rate of pay - £168 a day
Hours - 8:30 am - 4pm, plus parents eveningsExperience, Training and Qualifications

QTS or equivalent
Minimum 1 year teaching experience in the UK
Up to date Safeguarding training issued in the last yearEligibility

Hold Right to Work in the UK
Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
Provide two professional child related referencesOther
