We're seeking an experienced and motivated Transport Planner to join a dedicated team operating within a high-performance, fast-paced distribution environment.

Key Responsibilities:

* Plan efficient, cost-effective delivery routes for a large fleet

* Ensure compliance with UK transport legislation and internal policies

* Collaborate with operations and driver teams on rotas, absence, and communication

* Maintain excellent customer service and resolve logistical issues

* Monitor KPIs, reduce empty mileage, and optimise profitability

* Build strong working plans from customer order data including load fill and pallet counts

* Contribute to a safe, responsible workplace environment

What We're Looking For:

Essential:

* Strong planning, coordination, and communication skills

* Proficiency in Excel and comfort with multiple IT systems

* Flexible, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced operation

* Fluent English (verbal and written)

Desirable:

* Experience in a Transport Planner or logistics operations role

* Familiarity with transport software such as ESP, GTS, or similar systems

* Knowledge of multi-site transport or high-volume delivery operations
