A London based Local Authority is seeking an experienced Senior/Advanced Practitioner to join their Assessment service as a Practice Manager. This is an excellent opportunity to work for a proactive Local Authority which has reduced their locum workforce significantly by taking on a number of permanent staff across Children's services.

- Manage 3-4 Social Workers
- Average Caseloads are around 20-24
- Duty is held every 6 weeks
- Very well resourced Authority
- Excellent Early Help service
The Local Authority is a high performing Local Authority which had received a Good Ofsted rating during its last inspection. Caseloads are very well managed within the team and as Social Workers are holding duty every 6 weeks they have enough time to clear off the cases prior to picking up a new batch, ultimately this ensures staff are not overworked.
As a Practice Manager you will be managing 3-4 Social Workers making this an ideal position for career focused Social Workers as it provides a stepping stone into the realms of management. Due to the setup of the team you will be supported through this transition whilst having time to carry out the training provided by the Local Authority to further develop your management skills.
To be considered for this post you should have worked in the capacity of a Senior Practitioner for a number of years specifically within an Assessment or MASH service.
