Design Engineer

Our client is currently seeking a Design Engineer to join their design team in Cambridgeshire. As one of the largest residential property development companies in the UK, they are proud to create homes that are built to last and help bring to life a bright future for modern families.

About the role as a Design Engineer

As a Design Engineer you will be responsible for procuring service records and enquiries for the new developments, including responsibility for timely payment for new services infrastructure to support build programmes, to have input into securing structural design for superstructure components and liaise with other Technical Team members and others as necessary to seek the discharge of building regulations and planning conditions.

Requirements for a Design Engineer

Previous experience in a design related environment, preferably with civil and structural consulting Engineers.
Ability to co-ordinate with all members of the design team to ensure programmes are achieved.
Computer literate, experience of design software packages such as Autodesk project set.
Experience with PDS or Microdrainage is desirable although not essential.
