Simon Acres Recruitment is working with a well-established kitchen retailer who are looking for a Kitchen Project Coordinator to join their long-standing and experienced team based in Surrey.
Salary: Paying up to £30,000 basic, plus commission based on showroom turnover (OTE between £36,000 - £40,000).
Hours: Monday to Friday, 9.000am-5.00pm. Working 1 Saturday per month.
The Role:
- Preparing client project pack following the sale.
- Organising the schedule of works, deliveries to site and showroom.
- Seeing goods in and out of the showroom/warehouse, ensuring the items are on time, correct & undamaged to suit the schedule of work.
- Closely monitoring all outgoing orders and checking acknowledgements, delivery dates etc.
- Thoroughly checking individual client folders including:
o what has been specified sold and ordered, looking for obvious errors and communicating to sales to avoid misunderstanding during installation.
o Checking delivery dates, acknowledgements, worktop plans and confirmations etc to help eliminate errors prior to order/delivery/installation.
- Liaising closely with Sales to help gain an understanding of each individual client following the sale and prior to the installation.
- Visiting site regularly to oversee projects and to ensure the client is satisfied throughout the installation process.
- Ordering parts and organising remedial work as quickly and efficiently as possible.
- Regularly liaising with all installers to improve systems, avoiding future issues.
- Assisting installers to overcome issues on site as quickly as possible.
- Covering the showroom when necessary, including introducing clients to our service, booking appointments, and answering the phone.
- Trying to achieve regular 'misc. sales’ such as sinks, taps, appliances etc.
- Organising delivery/installation/collection of any 'misc. sales’ where required.
- Promoting the business and increasing turnover, efficiency, and profitability.
Candidate Requirements:
- Sales driven - high-energy, motivated, driven, and ambitious.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to converse at all levels, via telephone, email and in person.
- High levels of attention to detail, accuracy, and organisation.
- Good organisation & schedule management skills
- Ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
- Ability to problem solve and take control of a situation - be a negotiator and influencer.
- Technically minded with a willingness to learn.
- Lifting and manoeuvring heavy items will be required.
- Full UK driving licence.
