Quantity Surveyor / Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: Northern Ireland (Office-based, Hybrid Potential)

I'm working with a well-established structural steelwork contractor based in Northern Ireland who are looking to appoint a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor to join their commercial team. This is a permanent, full-time position ideally based in the office five days a week, though hybrid working can be considered for the right individual.

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the commercial aspects of steelwork projects from tender through to final account

*

Preparing and submitting valuations and variations

*

Cost control, cash flow forecasting, and commercial reporting

*

Working closely with internal teams including estimating, contracts, and procurement

*

Liaising with clients and subcontractors throughout project lifecycle

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in quantity surveying, ideally within the structural steelwork sector

*

Strong understanding of contracts and commercial processes

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Desirable:

*

Experience with estimating is advantageous

*

The role would suit either a QS looking to step into a senior role or an estimator looking to transition into quantity surveying
