Smart Education is currently recruiting for qualified Teachers of all subjects to work within specialist SEN schools in Birmingham. These schools support pupils aged 9–19 years with a wide range of needs including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), and medical needs.

Job requirements:
• QTS or QTLS qualification
• Experience of teaching children or young people (SEN experience desirable but not essential)
• A creative, flexible and inclusive teaching approach
• An Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply for one)

Role responsibilities:
• Planning and delivering lessons to pupils aged 9–19 with diverse SEN needs
• Differentiating learning to meet individual EHCP requirements
• Building positive relationships that promote progress and wellbeing
• Managing classroom behaviour effectively in line with school policies
