Pay rates: £12.71
Opportunities for overtime
Main Responsibilities: - Load vehicles.
- Unload vehicles.
- Check consignments.
- Ensure any discrepancies are identified and recorded.
- Keep accurate and legible records.
- Be trained to operate a forklift truck or electric palletiser and pump truck
- Convey wrapped pallets to floor scales for weighing.
- Ensure correct pallet segregation
- To undertake such other duties as may be reasonably required for the effective operation of the factory and unit
- Manual Handling/ loading and unloading trailers
Ideal Candidate: Our ideal FLT driver will have passion for delivering our customer orders whilst making sure our high Health and Safety, Food Safety and Product Quality standards are met.
You will be comfortable working in a chilled food processing environment.
We are a fast moving business so you need to enjoy working at pace and have dedication to take action and achieve results.
Previous experience working in a factory or warehouse environment would be useful, but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Essential:
- Valid FLT license essential (counterbalance forklift)
- Computer literate and good English is required both written and spoken
